Our elegant French-inspired bedside table is soft stone in colour with a hint of moss green, and features soft feminine edges, an aged metal handle and a distressed finish to complete the vintage look. Made from mahogany, the Normandie Slim Bedside table has one slim drawer, an open cubbyhole and curved legs.

I’m a fan of this slim bedside for its elegant proportions and subtle aged finish - it slips neatly beside beds in both contemporary Scandi schemes and relaxed French-country or coastal looks. The slender profile means it won’t overwhelm a small room, while the little drawer and open shelf give just enough storage for nighttime essentials and a stack of paperbacks.
Styling-wise, I’d keep accessories minimal: a compact lamp with a warm-metal base, a small bud vase or ceramic trinket bowl, and a neutral linen tray to corral your phone and charger. Tuck cables behind the back panel and balance the look with a soft rug underfoot.
