Description

Decorative lighting style for modern interiors with the Nore Small Encased Flush. This ceiling light features a flush design that is ideal for low ceilings and comes in a chrome finish that looks perfect in contemporary decor, with an array of luxurious crystal effect droplets encased within a glass bowl. It also has an IP rating of 44 meaning that it is sufficiently water resistant enough to be installed as a bathroom ceiling light.

Our Stylist Says

I love this flush fitting in the Nore Small, particularly because of its sleek chrome finish and elegant glass detailing, which add a touch of contemporary sophistication. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors where clean lines and understated glamour are desired. The crystal-like elements of the fitting can help to optimise light distribution, making it ideal for spaces such as hallways, bedrooms, or living rooms with neutral palettes. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other chrome accents or glass accessories to create a cohesive look, and placing it in rooms with high ceilings to maximise its visual impact. It offers a versatile, chic lighting option that elevates the overall aesthetic without overwhelming the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
