Description

Grant balances simplicity and elegance in the best way imaginable. The extremely beautiful, luminous glass dome is enclosed within its frame, creating a complete and decorative whole. At the same time, Grant contributes to one of today's design trends with the use of brass and opal-white glass. The glass in this lamp is mouth-blown and has been individually handcrafted. Due to this unique process, air bubbles may appear in the glass, and the thickness of the glass can also vary. This gives the glass its character and vivid appearance. The Grant wall light features a matte white opal mouth-blown glass shade, providing a soft, diffused light that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Its sleek black finish and minimalist design make it a versatile addition to various interior styles, from modern to industrial. Ideal for illuminating hallways, living rooms, or bedrooms. The open design of the Grant wall light allows you to showcase decorative E14 bulbs, adding a unique touch to your space. Choose bulbs with distinctive filaments or designs to create a personalised lighting feature that reflects your individual style. Dimensions: Size H16.4, W14.5, Diameter 14.5cm. Non-adjustable drop. 16.4 -. Bulb Information: Bulbs required 1 x E14 small edison screw LED (not included). Recommended maximum wattage: 40 watts. Can not be used with a dimmer switch. Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light for its clean, understated design and modern black finish, which makes it versatile for a range of interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist spaces, but can also add a sleek touch to vintage or industrial settings when paired with the right accessories. For styling, consider placing it near a bedside or on either side of a console to create balanced lighting, or use it to highlight artwork or architectural features. Practical tips include positioning it at eye level for direct illumination or slightly above for a softer, ambient glow. Its simple shape allows it to blend seamlessly into various colour schemes and décors, making it a smart, stylish choice for anyone looking to add functional yet attractive lighting.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
