I love this oak TV stand for its clean lines and mixed-material look - the warm artisan oak surface and slim black legs give just enough of a mid-century edge without overwhelming a space. It sits equally well in Scandi-inspired lounges, modern industrial lofts or a relaxed contemporary flat, pairing nicely with soft neutrals, matte metal accents and plenty of greenery.
For styling, hide your cables behind the cupboard, cluster a low vase and a stack of design books on one side of the top, and use the open shelf for a wicker basket or a small soundbar. The result is both practical and neatly curated.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
