We have searched the globe for the finest porcelain, ceramic and glass makers to produce a curated collection of table lamps invoking the spirit of travel and exploration. The Alchemist Collection has been designed to perfectly complement our long and proud Cotswold heritage. The beautiful Nomad table lamp features a Pele de Tigre marble base with wood detailing that combines modern design with timeless elegance. Sold as base only, shown with a fine linen shade in Bone, handcrafted using 100% linen fibres with a rigid hard backed whitelaminate inner, available to purchase separately. Marble is a natural material with distinctive variation in colouration and markings, meaning that our Pele de Tigre marble products are defined by their uniqueness. No two pieces of marble will appear the same; adding exquisite character and individuality to each piece. The Nomad is a base only product; shade sold separately. About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
