Conger Goodyear, president of New York's Museum of Modern Art, this dining table is lauded as one of the most elegant dining tables in the history of twentieth-century furniture design. With a black lacquered cast iron base accented with chromed steel wire, the table features an elegant white table top expertly crafted from plywood with a hard laminate surface. Aiming to blur the boundaries between monumental sculpture and organic furniture design, this unique design reflects Isamu Noguchi's belief that 'everything is sculpture'.
