Description
The rich tones of this indigo and neutral Yashmi cushion are perfect for adding depth and texture to create an inviting living room. The cover has been handcrafted using a screen-printing technique that is still used in Rajasthan, India today. The bold graphic effect is created in these steps: the jute is stretched flat on to the frame, the indigo colour is added, and then the chevron graphic is screen printed onto the jute. The fabric is then washed and dried, ready for stitching. Jute is completely biodegradable and recyclable, incredibly efficient to grow, and beautifully hardwearing with a soft finish. Please note, this is the outer cover only.

About Nkuku
The Story of Nkuku
Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.
The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.
Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.
