Description

Combining gorgeous patterning and a warm earthy colour palette, our Tussi Sia cushion covers in dusty pinks, neutrals and charcoal create a stylish focal point when paired with neutral furnishings or equally striking when set among a darker palette. We love this collection for its unique and unusual look that elevates a or into a considered design statement. There are other complementary cushions in the Tussi range. Our will accompany your cushion cover perfectly.

Our Stylist Says

This Tussi Sia cushion cover in dusty pink is a lovely piece to add subtle colour and texture to a neutral or muted interior. Its understated hue makes it versatile enough to work in both contemporary and boho-styled spaces, adding warmth without overpowering the decor. I love pairing it with textured throws and other patterned cushions to create a layered, inviting look on a sofa or armchair. For practical styling, consider mixing it with contrasting fabrics like linen or wool and keeping other cushions in complementary tones for a cohesive aesthetic. Its modest size of 60 x 40 cm makes it perfect for accenting, and the muted pink keeps the overall palette calm and sophisticated.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
