Description

The Singa outdoor wall lamp brings together classic form and industrial character in a durable fixture designed for exterior walls. Crafted from solid antique brass and fitted with a recycled glass shade shaped like a traditional bulb, this industrial wall light offers a timeless silhouette that complements both heritage and contemporary façades. Perfect for illuminating entryways or patios, it provides warm, ambient light while enhancing the architectural charm of your outdoor spaces.

Our Stylist Says

I love this outdoor wall lamp because its antique brass finish adds a touch of vintage charm while maintaining a sleek, contemporary silhouette. It's particularly versatile, working well with both rustic and modern outdoor spaces. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with natural materials like wood or stone for a warm, inviting feel, or contrasting it with darker metals for a more industrial look. Practical tip: position it near doorways or seating areas to maximise illumination and enhance outdoor ambience. Its understated yet impactful design makes it a practical choice for adding character and function to any outdoor scheme.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
