Description

We love the simple, chunky aesthetic of the Sadhi collection that combines clean lines with generous upholstery to create an inviting and stylish outdoor area, perfect for relaxed summer entertaining. The love seat is beautifully proportioned for lounging on sun-filled days and would add an attractive focal point to a sunny terrace or poolside. The natural grain of the acacia wood is complemented by the neutral tones of the cotton and jute blend seat fabric. Use alone in a smaller space or pair with the , or another love seat.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Sadhi love seat for its warm acacia frame and generous, weather-resistant cushions - it feels both sturdy and inviting. It suits a variety of outdoor schemes, from a Scandi-inspired patio with clean lines and cool greys, to a more rustic courtyard layered with textured throws and terracotta pots. To style it, anchor the seating area with a neutral jute rug, then add pillows in muted greens or deep blues to pick up surrounding foliage. A couple of low, wide planters on either side will frame the seat nicely and create a cosy corner you’ll actually want to use.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
