nkuku Ranoli Iron Etched Photo Frame | Decorative Accessories | Antique Brass | 8 X10''

Our Stylist Says

I love how this Ranoli frame brings a touch of vintage charm with its antique brass finish and etched design. It works beautifully in both traditional and contemporary interiors, especially when paired with earthy tones or textured fabrics. For styling, consider using it as part of a gallery wall or on a sideboard with other brass or rustic accents. Practical tips include opting for simple, monochromatic mats to let the etched detail stand out, and placing it at eye level in well-lit areas to highlight the craftsmanship. It’s versatile enough to suit cosy living rooms, bedrooms, or even hallway displays, adding a bit of understated elegance wherever it’s placed.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
