Description

The Nisha coffee table pairs character-rich materials with timeless craftsmanship. Its tray-style top is made from beautifully aged reclaimed wood, enhanced with a hand-carved inner border that adds a refined decorative touch. The chunky iron base, finished in a warm rust tone, offers a striking contrast to the organic textures of the wood. With its bold silhouette and handcrafted detailing, this rustic coffee table brings warmth and structure to any living room setting.

Our Stylist Says

I love this table for its versatile, natural aesthetic that can easily suit a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in rustic, boho, or industrial spaces thanks to its reclaimed wood top and iron frame. Its sturdy construction makes it practical for everyday use, while its understated design allows it to blend seamlessly with both neutral and textured decor. For styling tips, consider pairing it with textured cushions and throws for a cosy vibe, or keep it minimalist with sleek accessories and greenery to highlight its natural materials. It’s a great addition that brings warmth and character to any living room setup.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
