Description

Elegant and understated, the Murwara floor mirror brings a refined silhouette to your space with its tall, arched frame. The rich, textured finish adds depth and character, while its full-length design makes it perfect for bedrooms, hallways or dressing areas. Whether leaning against a wall or mounted, it creates a sense of light and openness in any room.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the nkuku murwara full length mirror for its versatile antique brass finish, which adds a subtle touch of warmth and vintage charm. It’s great in both contemporary and traditional interiors, especially in neutrally decorated spaces where it can serve as a focal or complementary piece. This mirror works particularly well in bedrooms, walk-in wardrobes, or hallway entrances - it not only provides function but also helps brighten up a space by reflecting light. When styling, consider pairing it with natural textures, like linen or rattan, to enhance its earthy appeal, and place it where it can make a small room appear larger or add a decorative element to an otherwise plain wall.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
