Handcrafted from sustainable mango wood which is stained a rich dark hue, the lamp is completed with a metal fitting in a warm antique brass finish. Mango wood is only harvested once the trees have stopped bearing fruit, making this lamp as environmentally friendly as it is elegant. Pair with our Dia lamp shade for a stylish addition to a bedside table.

About Nkuku
The Story of Nkuku
Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.
The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.
Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.
Values and Ethical Commitment
Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.
