I’m a fan of the Mahi brass shelf for its slim, understated frame and warm antique finish - it brings a touch of sophistication without feeling too heavy. It’s ideal in modern-industrial lofts, Scandinavian-inspired living rooms or even a pared-back home office where you want a little texture without cluttering the space.
When styling, mix books with decorative objects to balance functionality and flair: stack a few paperbacks horizontally, then place a sculptural vase or small plant on top. On alternate shelves, leave some breathing room so the lines of the unit remain visible, and vary heights and shapes to maintain visual interest.
