Description

The Lmaga grooved planter brings together bold texture and understated style. Its grooved detailing adds depth and contrast, offering the perfect backdrop to enhance the vibrant greens of houseplants. Available in two sizes, these versatile indoor planters can be styled solo or grouped as a set for greater impact, making them a refined addition to any interior.

Our Stylist Says

I love the nkuku Lmaga metal grooved planter for its robust yet refined look, making it a versatile addition to various interiors. Its aged black finish gives it a slightly industrial and vintage vibe, which works well in Scandinavian, boho, or urban loft schemes. The large size makes it practical for statement plants or multiple smaller ones, and the grooved texture adds subtle visual interest without overwhelming the space. For styling, consider placing it on a natural wooden surface or alongside other textured materials like woven baskets or rattan furniture to enhance its organic feel. It's perfect for adding greenery to living rooms, entryways, or even sunrooms, creating a grounded, stylish focal point.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
