Description

These elegant nesting tables combine form and function with their compact, space-saving design. Each table features a hammered aluminium frame with an antique brass finish, paired with a glass top that adds lightness and contrast. The textured, organic shape gives them a sculptural quality, while the imperfect finish adds depth and character. Perfect as a pair or styled separately, they bring a refined, tactile touch to any room.

Our Stylist Says

I love this set because of its sleek, industrial-chic vibe, making it a versatile addition to both contemporary and vintage-inspired interiors. The nkuku Khidki handles well in living rooms that incorporate neutral tones or warm metallic accents, adding a touch of character without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include stacking them together for a compact surface or using them separately to create visual interest across different zones. They work particularly well beside a sofa as side tables or in a reading nook, where their glass tops keep the look light and airy. Overall, they’re a smart choice for anyone wanting functional, stylish tables that can easily adapt to changing needs or décor updates.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
