Description

Our Kasai spotlight pairs industrial style with a rustic brass finish for a look that's both functional and full of character. Made from solid brass, it features a flexible joint that allows you to easily adjust the direction of the light, perfect for highlighting artwork, reading corners, or architectural details. A versatile piece that brings warmth and utility to any space.

Our Stylist Says

I love this brass spotlight for its sleek, functional design and its versatile antique brass finish, which adds a touch of industrial charm. It’s a great choice for contemporary, vintage, or even eclectic interiors, especially in spaces like kitchens, dining areas, or home offices where directed task lighting is useful. Practical styling tips include pairing it with exposed bulbs or minimalist decor to highlight its industrial appeal, or combining it with other brass accents for a cohesive look. It works particularly well in spaces where you want to add focused illumination without compromising a warm, inviting atmosphere.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
