A bold take on our bestselling Kiko collection, this thick-framed photo frame makes a creative statement on any wall. Crafted from cast aluminium and finished in a rich antique brass hue, it has a rustic, artisanal feel that adds character and warmth. Full of charm, these frames look striking on their own or clustered together. Available in three sizes.

Our Stylist Says

The Nkuku Jahala wall hanging photo frame is a versatile piece that adds a touch of vintage charm with its antique brass finish and rustic wooden border. I love how it balances classic and contemporary styles, making it suitable for both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in neutral or earthy colour schemes, adding warmth and character to living rooms, bedrooms, or hallway displays. For practical styling, consider grouping it with other small wall art or rustic accessories for an eclectic gallery look, or let it stand alone as a focal point. Its modest size makes it ideal for creating a curated feel without overwhelming the space, and the metal finish provides a subtle sheen that catches the light beautifully.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
