Description

This versatile kitchen console offers both style and storage. Featuring three spacious shelves, it-s ideal for organising cookware, pantry items, or everyday kitchen essentials. The open shelving allows for easy access, while the rustic wood finish and antique-style details add warmth and character. A practical piece that works just as well in utility spaces, dining areas, or even hallways.

Our Stylist Says

I love the nkuku Ibo reclaimed wood pantry shelving for its authentic, rustic appeal and versatility. Its natural finish lends itself well to in both traditional and modern farmhouse interiors, adding warmth and texture without feeling heavy. It works particularly well in open-plan kitchens or utility rooms where you want to display crockery, jars, or decorative accessories in an organised yet relaxed way. For styling, consider integrating a mix of functional storage and decorative elements-think wicker baskets, vintage ceramics, or potted herbs-to keep the look fresh and inviting. Practical tips include layering items at different heights and leaving some space around objects to enhance visual interest while maintaining an uncluttered feel.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
