The fabric is hand cut to size, playing close attention to the characteristics of the material, and the sculpted hardwood feet provides the finishing detail. Our upholstery fabrics are sourced from Italy’s finest mills and are chosen for their style and quality. We have selected a beautiful heavyweight, soft washed linen with an outstanding texture. The Story of Nkuku
Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.
The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.
Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.
