Description

Our Gola Recycled Glass Tealight Holder features a rustic finish with a subtle shine and an organic shape. Its deliberately uneven rim adds a unique touch, making it beautiful even when not in use. Once the candle is lit, it diffuses a warm, inviting glow, perfect for creating a cosy atmosphere in the evening. This striking piece pairs beautifully with other items in our seasonal tabletop collection, allowing you to style it alone, in pairs, or mix and match for a personalised look. Available in two sizes.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this Gola recycled glass tealight holder because it adds an earthy, textured element to any space. Its antique smoke finish creates a soft, atmospheric glow, perfect for cosy settings or adding warmth to more minimal interiors. It works beautifully in both contemporary and rustic schemes - think paired with natural materials like wood or paired with industrial accents for contrast. For styling, try grouping it with smaller candles or arranging multiples at different heights on a tray to create a layered, inviting vignette. Its sizeable design also makes it a statement piece on open shelves or dining tables, offering functional illumination while enhancing the overall aesthetic.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
