Description

The Enir hyacinth vase brings warmth and subtle texture to your display with its soft terracotta hue and distinctive hammered glass finish. Designed to grow a single hyacinth bulb or hold a small posy, this glass vase has a refined silhouette and gentle colouring make it a natural accent for shelves, windowsills, or table settings. Perfect for introducing a quiet moment of colour and form to any room.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the nkuku Enir hyacinth vase for its understated charm and versatile colour. The dusty terracotta finish offers a warm, earthy tone that pairs well with both neutral and muted colour palettes, making it suitable for a range of interiors-from rustic and farmhouse spaces to minimalist moderns. Its small size makes it perfect for tabletop displays, whether holding simple greenery or tiny floral arrangements, allowing it to act as a subtle focal point. Styling tips include pairing it with natural textures like linen or wood for a cosy feel, or grouping it with other vases of different heights to create visual interest. It's a practical piece that can easily be incorporated into everyday settings or utilised as part of a more curated display.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
