Description

The Drishti mirror has a uniquely handcrafted design etched into the mirrors edge. The heavy iron frame has a rustic, antique black finish that adds a bold touch to interiors, bringing light and a sense of space to even the darkest day. The oval shape works well in any living space, bedroom or hallway. Available in two sizes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this oval iron mirror for its blend of antique charm and versatile design. It works particularly well in traditional or industrial-style interiors, adding an elegant focal point without feeling overwhelming. Practical styling tips include placing it above a console table or in a hallway to optimise light and create the illusion of space. Its black finish makes it easy to pair with darker colour palettes or metallic accents, while its compact size makes it ideal for smaller rooms or as part of a gallery wall. Keep the surrounding decor simple and let the mirror's textured frame stand out for a timeless, curated look.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
