We think this elegant lamp base is divine. It is crafted from recycled glass by skilled artisans in Rajasthan. The hammered effect is created by hand when the glass is molten giving a beautiful textured and imperfect finish. Style with our Dia Jute Lampshades (sold separately).Pictured with the large sized Dia Jute Lampshade. This unusual table lamps are hand blown by skilled artisans. Each of these glass table lamps has a timeless design which mean they'll look elegant in any home. Please note lighting does not include bulbs. The Story of Nkuku
Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.
The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.
Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.
