Description

Our Almora arched mirror is sophisticated and timeless. The softly curved arch brings an elegant note to the slimline frame, which is crafted from cast aluminium. An imperfect textured finish and rich antique brass hue gives the mirror a beautiful vintage appeal. Hang it over a console table or dresser for an eye-catching decorative touch or add to a hallway for a stylish way to enhance the amount of natural light. Style with other mirrors from our Almora collection for a harmonious aesthetic.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this little brass-arched mirror because its clean, curved frame adds warmth without overpowering a space. Its antique finish makes it a great fit for everything from modern farmhouse to pared-back Scandi schemes, and its compact size is ideal above a narrow console, hallway table or sofa shelf. Styling tip: hang it at eye level and flank it with a pair of slim candles or small potted plants to balance the arch. You can also layer it above a shallow shelf alongside simple prints or woven baskets to create a cohesive vignette that reflects light and opens up even the trickiest corner.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
