Description
The Ajaya rattan dining chair blends the purpose of a dining chair with the relaxed and comfortable qualities of a lounging chair. The relaxed seating style is perfect for long lunches in the garden, and the rattan provides an appealing light and natural tone that adds a soft, warm look. The rattan has been skilfully curved into shape using a traditional steaming method. The joints of the chair are bound for stability using natural rawhide. Rubber stoppers are provided separately, should you wish to add these to the base of each foot to provide additional protection from wet ground and to avoid scratching surfaces.

The Story of Nkuku
Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.
The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.
Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.
