Description

Our Adya fitted sheet is crafted from 100% linen which is officially certified as European flax, a guarantee that the textiles have been produced in ways that are environmentally friendly. The quality of the fabric is clear - it has a soft, luxurious feel which improves with every wash. Natural linen is also hypoallergenic and can help regulate your body temperature, making for a comfortable night’s sleep. The autumnal olive hue perfectly complements the season and adds a stylish quality.

Our Stylist Says

The Nkuku Adya linen sheet in olive offers a sophisticated yet relaxed look that works beautifully in both modern and bohemian interiors. I love its natural fibre feel, which adds a touch of understated luxury and is perfect for creating a calm, inviting bedroom space. This sheet pairs well with neutral tones or complementary earthy palettes, making it versatile for layering with textured throws and cushions. Practical styling tips include matching it with a mix of natural cotton or linen bedding for a cohesive look, and using the olive colour as a grounding element in the room. It’s ideal for those looking to introduce a gentle pop of colour while maintaining an elegant, understated aesthetic.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
