Description

Inspired by the form of a classic table lamp, these miniature tealight holders offer a charming, non-electrical lighting option for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Each one comes with a removable glass shade, designed to softly diffuse the candlelight and create a warm, inviting glow. Practical and portable, they are perfect for adding character to alfresco dinners or cosy corners at home. Available in two colours.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little glass candle holder lamp for its simple yet elegant silhouette, making it quite versatile across interior styles. Its clear glass design lends itself well to minimalist, Scandi, or contemporary schemes, adding a subtle touch of sophistication without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include using it as a centrepiece on a sideboard or coffee table, paired with other glass or metallic accents for a cohesive look. It also works beautifully in a bedroom or cosy nook, creating warm, inviting lighting - perfect for relaxing evenings. To make the most of its design, consider clustering a few with different heights or placing it alongside textured or natural materials like wood or linen.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
