" Your new favourite beat up band poster with a twist, just the right amount of gritty hand drawn illustration mixed with hazy nostalgic pastel colours " We hooked up with Beth from Spiltmilkpress to design this Nico inspired art print, the talented artists encapsulated the right amount of grit and the right amount of indie doodles. We're inspired by the works of Raymond Pettibon and wanted this piece to have a newspaper clipping and obscure doodle style. The print also includes some of Nico's lyrics from her 67 song from the album Chelsea Girls, These days. Printed on Munken pure smooth cream paper which is certified by the Rainforest Alliance Program for FSC® Standards
I love this piece for its playful, retro vibe and bold illustrative style-perfect for adding a touch of personality to an eclectic or vintage-inspired interior. It works well in a casual lounge, bedroom, or even a creative workspace, where it can serve as a focal point or conversation starter. For styling tips, pair it with other black-and-white artwork or vintage accessories to create a cohesive look, and consider framing it with a simple black or white border to let the illustration stand out. Its size makes it versatile enough to hang solo above a sofa or bed, or as part of a gallery wall to inject some humour and artistic flare into your space.
