Our Stylist Says
I love this elephant canvas for its minimalist black-and-white aesthetic, making it a versatile piece that can suit a range of interiors. It works particularly well in modern or monochrome schemes, but can also provide a striking contrast in more colourful or eclectic spaces. Practical styling tips include placing it above a neutral sofa or bed to create a focal point, or pairing it with simple black or white frames to keep the look clean. For added impact, consider grouping it with other wildlife or nature-themed artworks, or layering it with textured textiles to bring a sense of depth to the display. Overall, it’s a subtle yet impactful piece that adds a touch of personality without overwhelming the space.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
