Our Stylist Says
I love the Newland headboard for its bold presence and lush teal velvet finish, making it a standout piece in both contemporary and eclectic interiors. Its plush, tufted design brings a layer of comfort and sophistication, perfect for adding a touch of luxury to a small double bed. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with neutral or soft-coloured bedding and decorative cushions to let the headboard be the focal point. It works particularly well in modern, minimalist rooms or spaces with a pop of colour in accessories, but can also elevate vintage-inspired schemes when paired with rich textures and warm metals. A practical tip is to keep bedside tables clutter-free and coordinate with matching or complementing soft furnishings for a cohesive look.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
