British designed, this spherical orange LCD alarm clock, Centre of the Earth from Newgate Clocks, has a sleek multi-function modern yet retro screen. The unique alarm clock has a 12 or 24-hour time display, a digital alarm and snooze function, and a temperature display. The screen will be dimmer when running on batteries alone, but bright when you hit the button on top unless you have the USB cable connected in which case the screen will be really bright. John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
