Description

Take inspiration from the Big Apple with the New York Collection. Graphic lines add a modern minimalist touch and soft, sumptuous fabrics create an inviting finish.

Our Stylist Says

The New York footstool in pale grey linen offers a versatile and understated chic that works well across a range of interiors, from classic to contemporary. I love its relaxed, lived-in feel, making it a great addition to a cosy living room or a more pared-back, minimalist space. Style tips include layering with textured cushions or throws for added comfort and visual interest, or pairing it with mid-century modern pieces for a balanced aesthetic. Its neutral tone makes it easy to incorporate into colour schemes or mixes of patterns, and its practical design invites use both as a footrest and an additional seating option when entertaining.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
