Description

Inspired by contemporary loft style living, our New York sofa collection has been created by the esteemed Danish designer Niels Gammelgaard. Made in Europe, the New York has a minimalist style and sleek, polished chrome feet. The backrest and seat are filled with a sumptuous feather layer for added comfort. Available in a range of luxurious fabrics, this bespoke collection can be tailor-made to complement your room perfectly.

Our Stylist Says

I love the New York armchair for its sleek, timeless design and rich colour that can make a statement in both contemporary and classic interiors. It works particularly well in living rooms that embrace bold or colour-rich schemes, and its compact size makes it versatile for smaller spaces or as an accent piece in larger rooms. To style it effectively, consider pairing with neutral or contrasting cushions to add texture, and keep surrounding accessories simple to let the chair stand out. Its elegant lines make it suitable for various interior styles, from modern minimalist to eclectic, making it a smart choice for adding both comfort and style.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
