Description

Take inspiration from the Big Apple with the New York Collection. Graphic lines add a modern minimalist touch and soft, sumptuous fabrics create an inviting finish.

Our Stylist Says

I love this armchair for its versatile, timeless appeal and its soft duck egg grey hue, which works beautifully in both contemporary and traditional settings. It’s practical for adding a touch of colour without overpowering a room, making it ideal for living rooms aiming for a calm, sophisticated vibe. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with neutral or slightly darker cushions for contrast, and keep accessories simple to let the fabric and colour shine. This piece also benefits from being quite adaptable; it can sit comfortably in a mid-century modern scheme or blended with more classic, vintage touches for an eclectic look. Its chenille upholstery is durable yet plush, offering comfort and longevity, which is essential in family-friendly or high-traffic rooms.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
