Our Stylist Says
The New York 2 Seater in dark blue velvet is a classic choice for adding a touch of sophistication to any living space. I love its versatile colour, which pairs beautifully with both modern and traditional interiors, and the plush velvet adds a sense of luxury without feeling ostentatious. It's ideal for contemporary schemes when styled with metallic accents and textured cushions or for more vintage-inspired rooms with patterned rugs and antique accessories. For practical styling, think about grounding it with a layered coffee table setup, or contrast the rich blue with lighter, softer tones on cushions or drapes to create a balanced look. It’s a smart, timeless piece that works well in cosy corner spots or as a statement in open-plan living areas.

About Graham & Green
The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand
In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.
The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.
Evolution through Generations
Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.
They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.
Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.
Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.
Milestones and Memories
Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.
They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
