Designed to emulate iconic chandeliers from five of the world's most distinguished concert halls and theatres, the Neverending Glory Prague Estates lighting collection has been updated to include this beautifully formed mini version of its grander sibling designs, exclusively available at The Conran Shop. The work of design duo Jan Plechác and Henry Wielgus, the sophisticated mini collection was created for prestigious Czech lighting manufacturers, Lasvit, and showcases the designers' free-spirited creativity and imaginative innovation. Hand-blown by artisanal craftsmen, the Prague Estates pendant has a fluid silhouette, reminiscent of an inverted bulb that was inspired by the opulent central chandelier of the Estates Theatre in Prague, which was also the prestigious site that debuted Mozart's 'Don Giovanni'. The design was realised by spinning and rotating its chandelier muse to create this fluid, distilled form that ripples downwards, appearing continually in motion yet ephemerally still all at once. Employing precision skill and the finest traditions and techniques, Jan Plechác and Henry Wielgus have interpreted the nostalgia of Estates Theatre in Prague this opulent, modern pendant light.
