The Nestor white marble square table is a stand-out piece that combines a classic material with a contemporary linear frame. Its sleek black geometric metal base provides a stable structure for the luxe marble top. Due to the nature of the statement marble, each table has its own distinctive markings, meaning no two tables are alike. There’s also plenty of surface space for magazines and cups of tea, but remember to place down coasters to protect the marble from excess heat and scratches. Made in Europe and exclusive to Habitat, the slender-framed table is part of the Nestor range of tables and is available in different sizes and colours.

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
