Inspired by the sophisticated elegance of Art Deco, the designer Nerla bed combines enveloping shapes, curved lines and a marked sculptural silhouette that adds personality to the bedroom. Its soft-volume headboard creates a welcoming feeling and makes the bed the star of the space, while its design of balanced proportions reinterprets classical aesthetics from a contemporary perspective. Soft and velvety to the touch, the headboard's small-structure chenille cover reinforces its warm and elegant character. It also offers high resistance to light and abrasion for everyday use. Designed to combine aesthetics and functionality, it is a bed with removable covers that makes it easy to care for and maintain: the headboard cover can be hand-washed and the frame cover can be machine-washed with a delicate cycle. Inside, it features a 180 mm bed base with steamed poplar wood slats, reinforced with plastic components that help to minimise noise, and a durable powder-coated steel frame. In addition, its ottoman bed base takes advantage of the space under the mattress as a large storage area, offering a practical solution for keeping the bedroom organised without sacrificing design. The opening mechanism incorporates two 900 N gas pistons that facilitate access to the interior. The fabric comes from a supplier with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification, a standard that guarantees ecologically safe and environmentally responsible production. The result is a bed intended to create an elegant, comfortable and functional bedroom, in which Art Deco inspiration and technical details are integrated into a design with its own presence.
