Description

Combine retro and scandi styling with the Nera Bathroom Wall Light. This cross over design wall light features a mid century satin brass finish and has gorgeous scandi style opal glass shades which diffuse a warm tone illumination outwards. It also is IP44 rated for water resistance when styled in the bathroom and looks ideal when styled on either side of a bathroom mirror.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light because its satin brass finish adds a subtle touch of warmth and sophistication, making it a versatile piece for various bathroom styles. It's particularly well-suited to contemporary or modern interiors, but its clean lines can also complement more eclectic spaces. Practical styling tips include installing it either on either side of a mirror for balanced task lighting or above a feature wall to add an ambient glow. Pairing with minimalist fittings keeps the look sleek, while adding matching brass fixtures can create a cohesive, luxe feel. Overall, it’s a stylish choice that combines elegance with functionality.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
