Our Stylist Says
I love this dark velvet curtain for its luxurious texture and ability to add sophistication to a space. Its neutral, natural tone makes it versatile, pairing well with both contemporary and classic interiors. It’s perfect for adding warmth and depth to living rooms or bedrooms, especially when you want to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist, neutral-coloured furnishings for a balanced look or layering with sheer curtains for added dimension and flexibility in light control. Thanks to its rich fabric, it also has good insulating properties, helping to keep rooms warmer during colder months.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
