Price History

Description

The simplistic Neo floor lamp has a rustic image that’s perfect for giving a brighter look to an interior, with the white base and head complimented by a light wood stem. An adjustable shade allows you to direct the light in the area where it will be most useful, for example towards the book you are reading sat in an armchair.

Our Stylist Says

The Neo Floor Lamp in white offers a clean, minimalist aesthetic that works well in contemporary or Scandinavian-inspired interiors. I love its versatile design, which can brighten up a corner in the living room or bedroom without overpowering the space. Its slim profile makes it a practical choice for smaller rooms or areas where space is limited. For styling, consider pairing it with neutral textiles and wooden furniture to create a cosy yet modern feel. You could also use it to highlight a reading nook or to add layered lighting in an open-plan setup. Its simple, understated look means it’s easy to incorporate into various styles, offering both function and a touch of subtle elegance.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
