I’m a big fan of this navy velvet bench with gold legs because the rich colour and luxe texture instantly lift a space without overwhelming it. It suits modern classic, Art Deco or mid-century interiors and works equally well at the end of a bed or in an entrance hall as extra seating. To style, add a slim brass tray to hold a candle and keys, layer a neutral wool throw over one corner and balance with soft linen cushions or a leather pouffe nearby for contrast.
