Our Stylist Says

This seat pad offers a practical yet stylish addition to both traditional and contemporary interiors. I love its natural linen fabric, which adds a laid-back, effortless vibe perfect for country kitchens or casual dining spaces. The striped linen border adds a subtle touch of detail without overpowering the overall look, making it versatile enough to complement wooden or painted furniture. For styling, consider pairing it with similar neutral tones for a cohesive feel, or use it to introduce texture in layered schemes. It works well on wooden chairs, benches, or even to soften the look of vintage or rustic furniture. Practical tip: tactile and comfortable, it’s not only about aesthetics but also about making seating more inviting-especially in busy family areas or outdoor spaces.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
