Rectangular shaped, with a natural live edge, this splendid coffee table will blend with any modern surroundings. Handcrafted from sustainably sourced solid Acacia Wood, this coffee table is offered in a natural wood colour with a matte finish, and complemented with a solid metal base. The uniqueness of this range is given by the variations in the wood, together with the natural knots and slight cracks which add to the character of every piece.

I’m a fan of this live-edge console for the way its natural timber top and slim metal legs bring warmth without feeling heavy. It works particularly well in Scandi-inspired, modern farmhouse or industrial schemes, where that mix of textures really lifts the space.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
