Description

A modern twist on a traditional coir, our Woven Rope coir mats are premium quality and the coir has woven to look like a plait. It is made from 100% natural coir. The coconut fibre, natural coir, offers fantastic scraping qualities for muddy shoes and boots and absorbs water well, meaning your floors stay cleaner for longer. The doormat is suitable for all weathers, all year round and mainly used outdoors but can be used indoors too. An attractive design mat that can be used at the door, porch, greenhouse, shed, conservatory, patios or anywhere you want. The doormat is 100% biodegradable so when you have finished with the mat the natural coir will disintegrate with one year subject to soil conditions. The packaging and kimbles are recyclable too.

Our Stylist Says

I love this coir doormat for its natural, handmade look that adds a touch of warmth and texture right at your entrance. It works particularly well in rustic, coastal, or contemporary interiors that embrace organic materials. Its knotted rope design offers a sturdy, durable surface that manages foot traffic effectively, while the natural tones complement neutral or earthy colour schemes. For styling, place it in outdoor or indoor settings, and consider pairing it with woven baskets or wooden accents to enhance its natural aesthetic. Practical tips include cleaning it regularly to maintain its appearance and considering a weatherproof placement if used outdoors, as its material is designed to withstand the elements while offering timeless charm.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
