Step inside "The Wrong Shop" art gallery: a sharp selection of exclusive posters that will appeal to fans of graphic and visual arts! Created by English designer Sebastian Wrong, the brand publishes drawings and prints by influential artists, designers and architects. These exceptional-quality prints are truly affordable works of art. Nathalie Du Pasquier's Cold and Hot posters feature geometric shapes combined with bold, distinctive hues. The abstract elements form a structure that would be impossible to build in three dimensions. The lines visible on the colour blocks add depth to the poster and clearly show that the original work, despite its precise geometry, was not created digitally. Nathalie du Pasquier is a painter, graphic artist and designer. In the 1980s, this famous visual artist was one of the founding members of the Memphis group, which formed around the iconic Ettore Sottsas. During these years, she designed numerous textiles, rugs, objects and items of furniture, as well as motifs for the furniture of other designers in the group. From her travels in Africa and Asia, which she undertook at the end of the 1970s, this striking style resulted which would permeate the Memphis creations. When the group dissolved in 1987, she returned to her first medium, painting. We immediately recognise Nathalie Du Pasquier's style: an explosive, harmonious mix of exuberant patterns and vibrant colours. A world that evokes travel, African waxes with a quirky rock touch.
The Nathalie du Pasquier - Chaud Poster is an eye-catching piece that brings a bold, graphic aesthetic to any space. I love how it combines vibrant colours and geometric forms, making it versatile enough to work in both contemporary and eclectic interiors. It’s particularly effective in understated spaces where it can act as a statement piece, but it also pairs well with neutral tones to add a splash of colour. For styling tips, consider framing it in a slim black or white frame for a clean finish, and hang at eye level to make sure its visual impact is maximised. It’s also worth grouping it with other minimal artworks or prints to create a curated gallery wall. This poster is perfect for injecting a lively, modern edge into living rooms, offices, or even bedrooms.
