Narina shares its name with the beautiful Narina Trogan Bird, native to KwaZulu- Natal in South Africa. Derived from the detailed patterning found on many Ardmore bowls and vases, the Cole & Son design studio have created a soft watercoloured geometric design using the stylised feathers of the Narina Bird to produce a subtle yet unusual semi-plain wallpaper. Displayed here in shades of soot black and snow white. Use on all four walls or hang on one feature wall for an alternative twist, ideal for living room, hallway and bedroom areas. The Narina wallpaper is part of the Cole & Son Ardmore wallpapers collection. Application Method: paste the wall and then apply wallpaper. Pattern match: Straight Match. Vertical repeat: 52cm.
I love the Narina wallpaper in Linen Beige because of its subtle, sophisticated pattern that adds texture without overwhelming a space. It works especially well in living rooms, bedrooms, or even hallways where a soft, neutral backdrop is desired. This pattern lends itself to pairing with both modern and vintage furniture, and its neutral tone makes layering with colourful accents or textured textiles easy. For practical styling, consider matching it with muted-toned furniture and accessories to keep the look cohesive, or add pops of colour through cushions or artwork for contrast. This wallpaper is versatile and timeless, making it a great choice for creating a calm, understated yet stylish interior.
