I’m a fan of the Oslo lounge chair in that dark-grey Steelcut fabric for its simple shape and slim steel legs - it feels light in any room yet still delivers on comfort. The muted tone and clean lines suit Scandi-inspired schemes, minimalist lofts or even a pared-back corporate lounge, and the hard-wearing weave stands up well to everyday use.
To style it, tuck it into a reading corner alongside a slender oak side table and a cosy lamp, then add a textured throw or a small cushion to soften the look. Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
